  We stopped at Blakes while traveling through town. I've never had a "Grinder" before, so my husband and I decided we would try one. Best decision we ever made! That was absolutely the best sandwich I ever had. The 2 young ladies working there were very pleasant. We were the only customers, so while we were eating, I heard the young ladies in the back in the kitchen singing. It was an awesome, wholesome experience. I plan to travel there again this weekend just for another Grinder.(100 miles round trip).

  Blake's has been around for a long time for a reason. Although their pizza is great, it is the grinders/subs that I crave day-to-day (try the Pizzano Inferno). Between the friendly staff and their continued community involvement, Blake's is one of the main reasons I find myself in Carnation.
